Barack Obama wins by spudart Barack Obama wins by spudart
I enjoy the dramatic feel of this photo with light shooting off into the sky. The super white blob on the left is a video screen showing the tv election coverage.

This photo is part of a blog post about significance of the happiness seen at Obama's rally in Chicago's Grant Park. (November 4, Barack Obama wins the 2008 election and will become the next president of the United States.)

How was the happiness this night different from world championships, music concerts and fireworks? Find out and read the blog post at: [link]

Obama faills. he is the trator to this country his crime is ecomic sabatoge. The democratic party is nothing more but trators. Even there voters are trators. And trason should be dealt with by death. By public firing squad.

Actually, plenty of people are perfect at spelling, myself being one of them. That aside, this person's photo is not an invitation for you to spam your hate all over the comments. Do you just type 'Obama' into the DA search engine and flame the millions of results? If you do indeed do that, you'll be banned before you know it. Your political views are irrelevant to people's art. You're not accomplishing anything.

My point is that this is an art site, not a political message board. If you have nothing constructive or relevant to say, please keep it to yourself or take it elsewhere.

I see. but the entire set up for that was to perfect. I had to do that. Just had to do that. But I do understand that this is a art site and what not. next time though the persons who are posting that had better get his politics card ready to go and what not cause you will find people on here who will do what I just did. Food for though for every one here and incuding myself.

No, dude, you did not 'have' to do that. You are flaming. This is an ART SITE, not a bitch site where you can threaten and insult people because of their views. Fuck, this photo isn't even expressing any views whatsoever, it's simply a photo of an EVENT. An event thousands went to. No one needs to get any politics card ready. You need to stop flaming, or you will be reported.

One more thing, you replied specifically to my comments, that were made years ago, and it annoyed me. There was nothing in my comments that gave an opening for any debate. There were simply 'I was there, it was cool.' And it was. End of story. I don't give a fuck about any particular political party, nor do I think anyone needs to be shot by firing squad. Can't we all just shut the hell up and enjoy a photo for what it is?

That was one of the best nights. I was there with my friends, freezing, eating chips on a blanket. When he won, we all screamed, I videorecorded his speech, and just walking downtown with everyone else, the wave of cheers rolling up and down the crowd. It was amazing :) We got home at like 2 in the morning. It's so awesome to witness history like that. And I was sick from work that day too.
