A splendid opposite of those star-splattered skies which make us feel so insignificant; instead this is just so hopeless and lonesome with nowhere to go... and its wonderful for it.
The expression on his face reflects the mood perfectly, specially those eyes. I find it intresting though, how well it works without a mouth.
I really like the sketchy style you've got here too.
