It's rather tricky getting decent shots in Central Station, because they don't allow tripods. (A security guard came up to me immediately saying tripods are not legal in Central Station. So I grabbed a handful of train schedules to prop up my camera and took this shot from the staircase. It's three exposures combined into one HDR.
This looks majestic . I love it. I live in New York City but I never actually take the time to take it all in because I am always in a rush (how stereotypical...) .
This makes me think of my Great-grandfather who was a Locomotive Engineer. He worked for New York Central back in the early 1900s. This is a beautiful shot!
